Lady of the Pines Catholic Church – Colorado Springs,

 It
is with great pleasure that I write this testimonial for
Roland Dutzmann and the team at AcousTech. We have just
dedicated our new church building, which we have designed
and built over the past two years. Besides wanting to create
a beautiful space for worship, as a former music minister
the acoustical and amplification designs were extremely important
to me. I’ve been in too many churches where these factors
were a barrier to sharing the good news of the Gospel.
Roland was involved with the project from the concept phase,
honestly sharing his inputs with the architect and I regarding
what would lead us to our desired state. He brought true
expertise on design considerations and equipment options,
and was able to balance our need for a first-rate system
with the typical budget constraints of a church community.
In fact, in comparing notes with several other churches in
the area that were building at the same time, I’m convinced
that we have implemented a superior system at a better price
than any of our neighboring parishes!
Throughout the installation,
Roland and his team maintained an open dialog with me,
to ensure that the final implementation
met our lofty expectations. AcousTech conducted full-day
training with our sound operators and our music ministers
the Saturday before we dedicated our church, and actually
ran sound for our Dedication Mass. A follow up training
further raised the skill and comfort level of all of our
sound technicians
and fine-tuned the setups for our diverse music groups.
 Our
parishioners, musicians, operators, ministers and staff
uniformly praise the sound in our new church. The space
is ‘alive’ in
its acoustical design, and the sound system accentuates
the spoken and sung word. I am extremely happy with the
result.
Without question, when we design and build our new Parish
Life Center, I will invite Roland Dutzmann and AcousTech
to be on the team.
